Ahold Delhaize — My Delhaize

The My Delhaize grocery e-commerce application. I worked in a separate stream as the engineer owning a custom advertising feature end to end.

Responsibilities

• Led a stream of four developers on the product before moving to own the custom advertising work.
• Solo-owned a custom in-list advertising feature: promotional banners woven into the app's existing product lists, served by custom targeting logic and fully configurable from the Bloomreach CMS — without degrading the performance of already heavy, complex product lists.
• Researched and compared multiple list-rendering approaches, weighing rendering performance against the customization the feature needed, and took the chosen solution to production.
